Tom joined Harneys in April 2016 as an associate in the Litigation and Insolvency practice of the Cayman Islands office. He specialises in commercial and insolvency litigation and has a broad range of experience in disputes involving contracts, insolvency, civil fraud, banking and finance, investment funds.
Tom is a barrister at 3 Verulam Buildings in London, and has joined Harneys on secondment, and was admitted as an Attorney of the Cayman Islands in January 2015.
Prior to practising as a barrister in England and Wales, Tom worked on a range of public policy and legal policy issues at the Bank of England (2002-5), the Financial Services Authority (2005-6) and the Law Commission (2008-9).
