Shari Hawke is counsel in the Singapore office where she specialises in advising clients on British Virgin Islands law and Cayman Islands law aspects of corporate and private equity transactions. Shari has extensive transactional experience in both established and emerging markets advising international and domestic corporates, financial institutions and private equity funds on structuring, negotiating and documenting investments in a broad range of complex, cross-border transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, disposals, management buy-outs, strategic joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
Beginning her career with Clayton Utz in Australia, Shari subsequently worked as a senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for 5 years in Singapore and Hong Kong and then as a senior associate at Allen & Overy for 3 years in Singapore before moving offshore.
