Expertise and Professional Background
Peter is a partner in the BVI Litigation and Insolvency department. He has particular experience in large scale commercial litigation and insolvency disputes.
Peter's recent experience includes acting on behalf of liquidators in the US$1.6 billion Pacific Andes restructuring dispute which involves substantial allegations of trade finance fraud. He also has particular experience in enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards particularly involving tracing actions in multiple jurisdictions. Peter also acts on behalf of investors, both high net worth individuals and institutional investors, in relation to hedge fund disputes.
Peter was noted as a "standout name" in relation to international trade and commodities by Who’s Who Legal, and Legal 500 recommends Peter as a "seasoned, convincing advocate whose persuasive eloquence is much in demand’.
Before joining Harneys in 2016, Peter practiced at a leading commercial barristers chambers in London for 17 years.
