Expertise and Professional Background
Natalie Bell is a Senior Associate in the BVI office and a member of the firm’s Investment Funds and Regulatory Practice Group. Natalie specialises in advising managers, funds and directors on all aspects of open and closed ended investment funds from launch to restructuring or winding up. She has significant experience advising BVI regulated entities on licensing, continuing obligations and regulatory or enforcement action. Natalie’s practice also includes all aspects of BVI corporate law including acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations and joint ventures.
Before joining Harneys in 2011, Natalie was an associate at Travers Smith LLP in London where she specialised in UK and international private equity, acting for institutional investors, investee companies and management teams on investments and divestments and general corporate work.
Natalie is a contributing editor of The Offshore Funds Blog, a Harneys blog dedicated to explaining how offshore funds work and why investment managers use them.
