Katie Pearson is a senior associate in Harneys’ Cayman Litigation and Insolvency practice.
Katie specialises in international commercial litigation and insolvency with a focus on shareholder disputes, hedge fund disputes, company winding-up, fraud and asset recovery and trust litigation. Her experience includes obtaining and defending emergency injunctive relief aimed at the preservation of assets, including freezing injunctions and receiver appointments.
Katie began her legal career in London where she trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and practised at leading fraud litigation firm, Peters & Peters. In 2009, Katie moved to the Cayman Islands where she worked in the litigation and insolvency department of Appleby for four years. Katie joined Harneys in 2016.
