Expertise and Professional Background

Greg joined Harneys as a corporate partner in April 2015.  He has been practising British Virgin Islands law since 2006 and has significant experience in advising financial institutions, public and private businesses, high net worth individuals, and their onshore advisors on the corporate and commercial laws of the British Virgin Islands. 

He works with many of the world's leading lawyers, bankers, private equity firms and accountants on cross-border joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and stock exchange listings. Greg has a particular speciality in natural resources and emerging market (BRICS) transactions and advising Multilateral Lending Agencies and Development Banks. 

Prior to moving to the British Virgin Islands he gained extensive experience in London with Baker & McKenzie as a banking and finance lawyer. Greg has been consistently recommended as a leading lawyer and recognised expert in his field by several international legal directories including IFLR 1000.
