Dipti Thakar is counsel in the Corporate practice in Harneys’ Singapore office.
Dipti advises leading onshore law firms, major international financial institutions and listed and private companies. She specialises in debt and equity capital markets, including initial public offerings, listings, project bonds, tender offers, Islamic finance and general corporate matters.
Before joining Harneys, Dipti worked as counsel in the Corporate department of Latham & Watkins in Singapore. She has also worked in Latham & Watkins’ Hong Kong, Dubai, Doha and London offices. Prior to Latham & Watkins, Dipti began her career in the Corporate department at Linklaters where she worked in its London and New York offices. During her time at Latham & Watkins, Dipti undertook a secondment with Citigroup’s transaction structuring group in London.
Dipti is recognised by Legal 500 and ranked by IFLR 1000 as a leading practitioner for capital markets transactions. Dipti has also been nominated as “Most Influential Female Lawyer of the Year” by the Middle East Awards.
